As demand for our advice, services and solutions grows, we have decided to build more expertise within our team, and what better way to do this is by taking the raw natural talent and developing the skill set needed in-house.

To develop the next generation of experts, Avocado55 has created Avocado Academy, a tailor-made training and mentoring programme designed to give people with the raw skills and aptitude the tools and qualifications to become specialists in their chosen field. Not only in their particular area of interest but complete business and interpersonal skills to give anyone the best career journey possible.

We are not just looking for candidates who are just starting out on their career journey and have just finished studying, but people who are part way through studying and not sure what direction to go in, or those who are on their journey already and looking for a change in direction and join a dynamic, straight-talking, delivery-focused team.

SUPPORTED PROGRESS

Avocado  Academy is available to anyone no matter where you are in your career. Once you are accepted, you will be assigned a Mentor who will work with you to design and tailor a training and development programme for you to develop your knowledge and build the wider skills needed to work within the fast-paced customer service environment.  

Our training and development plans will include:

  • ITIL
  • Business Intelligence

Proud to be working with the DWP Kickstart# programme, we are currently embarking on our first phase, to recruit raw talent that we will train, develop and mentor into fantastic Data Analysts. 

Our recruits will follow a uniquely designed work and training plan complete with dedicated mentors who will provide support during the scheme and offer them a detailed insight into the contact centre industry. 

1 | FORECASTING

How many people will call us? How many people will tweet at us? When will it change? Why? How many people should we expect to be on holiday? Capture, record & publish.

2 | SCHEDULING

When should everyone work? Does the forecast tell us it will be a busy weekend for some reason? How many extra people do we need? Where will they come from?

3 | REAL-TIME MANAGING

When the time comes, we watch! Is our forecast accurate, or are we busier or quieter? Are more people off sick than we expected? What can we do about this?

4 | REPORTING

After the day, what was it like? What did we get right? Where did we fail? How can we do better? Once these questions are answered – go back to the start.
